Dated Champhai, the 1^st June, 2020:   Stranded People from Delhi and West Bengal reached Champhai this morning.  They were received at the designated Staging Area, Vanlallawma Indoor Stadium (VANIS), Kahrawt by   SP Pu Rex Zarzoliana, SDO Sadar Pu Lalnunfela Chawngthu, Addl SP Pu C.Lalengliana, other Officials, Medical Team and Security Personnels. 

Today, 103 (35 Males and 68 Females) stranded people from Delhi and 6 (2 Males and 4 Females) from West Bengal, a total of 109 stranded people hailing from Champhai district reached Champhai by 7 Buses. They all have cleared Medical Screening and Rapid Test (RAT) conducted at the Staging Area, VANIS. They are being quarantined at Tlangsam Polytechnic Quarantine Centre, Champhai Tourist Lodge Quarantine Centre, DPRC Quarantine Centre, PCI Dinthar Veng Kohhran Hall Community Quarantine Centre, while 4 people have been  granted  Home Quarantine.   

Sixty-five Stranded people (15 Males and 50 Females) from Goa, who have arrived at Bairabi Station earlier today by Shramik Special Train are expected to arrive Champhai tomorrow. They are to be quarantined  at  PCI Venglai Kohhran and PCI Electric Veng Kohhran Hall Community Quarantine Centres. All 15 Throat Swab Samples taken from RAT reactive returnees on last Saturday got negative, the RT-PCR Test results was conducted at Zoram Medical College (ZMC).
