Stranded People from the States of Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and  Andra Pradesh belonging to Khawzawl District reached Khawzawl yesterday.  They were received at Khawzawl Field No 1, Zuchhip Veng  by Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, District Level Task Force Pu H.Lianzela, SP Pu PC Lalchunglura,  Zonal Magistrates, Stranded Person Management Teams and  Medical Teams.  

There were a total of 32 stranded  people who reached Khawzawl, 9 males and 23 females. At the receiving program, Deputy Commissioner Pu H.Lianzela appealed them to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures of Quarantine Centre. After  Medical Team conducted Medical Screening and Rapid Test, they were being Quarantined at 3 Quarantine Centres:   Horticulture Staff Lodge, Forest Rest House and JNV under the escort of  respective Zonal Magistrate and Stranded Person Management Team.
