Aizawl, the 1st October, 2026 : The Sate Election Commission, Mizoram has decided to undertake Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls for By-Election to fill the following twelve (12) Casual Vacancy seats under ten (10) Village Councils within Lai Autonomous District Council as provided under sub-rule (3) & (5) of Rule 3 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2011, with reference to 1st January, 2026 as the qualifying date, as per Schedule indicated below :
