Aizawl, the 2nd October, 2021: As part of the celebration under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen), Champhai District Sanitation &  Water Mission today observed Swachh Bharat Diwas at two villages from the District, Hnahlan and Khawbung.

Observance of Swachh Bharat Diwas witnessed robust Awareness Campaigs on cleanliness and sanitation, comprising short speeches from heads of offices which was followed by mass cleanliness drive called Swachhata Shramdaan.

The observance was attended by members of District Sanitation & Water Mission, Village Councils, NGOs and general public.
