SWEARING OF NEW GOVERNOR OF MIZORAM ON NOVEMBER 5

The swearing of the new Governor of Mizo is tentatively scheduled on November 5, 2019. Shri PS Shreedharan will be sworn as the new governor, replacing the outgoing Governor Prof. Jagdish Muhkhi

A meeting to oversee the preparedness of Swearing-in ceremony was presided over by Chief Secretary Pu Lalnunmawia Chuaungo on yesterday. As per the arrangement the ceremony will take place at the Lawn of the Raj Bhavan to accommodate a large crowd. The Governor is expected to be accompanied by around 50 attendants of members of the family and close friends.
