Dated Hnahthial, the 29^th May, 2025:The nationwide agricultural campaign aimed at transforming India through scientific methods- Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan was launched for Hnahthial and Lunglei District at Hnahthial DC Office complex where three teams were flagged off. Following this, the three teams covered a total of nine (9) out of the targeted ninety-nine (99) villages in Hnahthial and Lunglei District today.

Each team covered three(3) villages with Team-1 covering – Darzo, South Vanlaiphai and Muallianpui. Team -2 covered Hnahthial,Thiltlang and Pangzawl while Team-3 covered Tarpho, Aithur and Khawhri villages. Each of the teams sensitized the farmers on the various central schemes beneficial to them generating awareness amongst the farmers. Discussions pertaining to problems faced by the farmers regarding crop production and animal husbandry were also held.
