Kolasib the 30th May 2025: The second day of Pre Kharif Campaign continues amidst bad weather and incessant rain. Different departments viz., Agri., Horti., Vety., Fishery and DRDO came out together in imparting different schemes which can benefit farmers. Research Institute – ICAR and KVK taught new technologies that were successfully trialed in Kolasib district.

These expert team cover 9 villages namely Hmar Veng, saidan, Tuitha Veng, Rengtekawn, New Builum, Gosen Veng, Saihapui K, Bukvannei and N.Thinglian where a total of more than 300 farmers came out to listen the campaign lectures. The Pre Kharif Campaign will last for 11 days starting from yesterday till 12th June 2025.
