Dated Hnahthial, the 30th May, 2025: The Central Government's initiative to boost agricultural production and sensitize farmers on various central schemes - Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan continues today seeing its second day of implementation. Three teams of experts were constituted to cover the various Villages in Hnahthial and Lunglei District. Each of the teams covered two (2) villages today tallying to a total of six (6) villages covered by all the teams combined.

The three teams covered the villages of Chhipphir, Tuipui D, Cherhlun, Bualpui V, Leite and Thingsai which saw a total of 310 participating farmers. The farmers reviewed the campaign to be helpful and beneficial. The team also sanitized their vehicles before entering into a different village so as to prevent the spread of African Swine Fever.

A total of ninety-nine (99) villages are to be covered in Hnahthial and Lunglei District. Till date, a total of fifteen (15) villages have been covered.
