TRAINING OF TRAINERS ON FOOD AND MOUTH DISEASE (FMD) AND BRUCELLOSIS VACCINE HELD

Training of Trainers on Food and Mouth Disease (FMD) and Brucellosis Vaccine was held at A.H & Veterinary Department, Aizawl today. The training was chaired by Dr. Lalnuntluanga Colney and the trainers were heartily welcome by Dr. K.C. Roduhawma. Aizawl District Veterinary Officer, Dr. Esther Lalzoliani presented a paper entitled ‘Food and Mouth Disease Awareness and Brucellosis Vaccination in Mizoram.’

The training was attended by Chief Veterinary Officer and District Officers.

The Department of A.H & Veterinary, Government of Mizoram has been taking great efforts to ensure complete eradication of these diseases and better livelihood opportunities for the livestock rearing farmers in Mizoram.
