Dated Kolasib the 31st March 2021 : A training for the betterment of work ethics and management - Mahatma Gandhi Nrega - Sensitisation Programme On Time And Motion Study was held today at Parish Hall, Venglai Kolasib. Organised by District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Kolasib, this programme focuses on labour and employment education by promoting time management and efficient use of materials in various government schemes.

Mr. Benjamin Lalzama, Project Director, DRDA presided the training programme with Dr. H. Lalthlangliana, Deputy Commissioner, Kolasib also attending the training inaugural function. Presidents and Secretaries of 56 Village Councils within Kolasib District, Technical Assistants and Computer Assistants from BDO’s Offices of Thingdawl and Bilkhawthlir RD Block participated in the training programme.

Resource persons, Mr. Gaston Vanlalhriatpuia, BDO Thingdawl RD Block, Mr. Ngenthianlala, BDO Bilkhawthlir RD Block and Mr. C. Sawikhua, Works Manager DEGSU delivered lectures on ‘Effective Working method’ for higher production volume using the same amount of resource input in various government schemes. They also gave an introduction to the new norms of MGNREGS, which deal with the fixation of wages among the workers, and certain benefits for physically challenged individuals.
