Dated Siaha 14th February 2024 : Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Professor S.P. Singh Baghel arrived at Siaha Helipad a for a two -day visit to the district. He was welcomed by Shri. M. Laikaw, CEM, MADC and two MLA of Siaha District- Dr. K. Beichhua and Shri. K. Hrahmo. Shri. Lalhmunsanga Hnamte, Deputy Commissioner and Shri. K.L Vulmawia, Superintendent of Police were also present at the Helipad.

Soon after the arrival, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel headed to Circuit House where he held a brief meeting with officials from the district. Shri. Lalhmunsanga Hnamte, Deputy Commissioner, chaired the meeting and Smt. Lalnunmawii, Addl.DC proposed the welcome address. 

Smt. B. Malsawmtluangi, SDO (S) had presented a brief profile of the district, the on-going projects and proposed project of the district. The Health Department also staged the status, various initiatives and services provided under the deparment and conditions of health and wellness in the district.

Later the Union MoS, Professor S.P. Singh Baghel met with various Church leaders of the district.
