Mamit 22nd March, 2021 : Workshop and Sensitization of Village Disaster Management Committee was organised by Disaster Management & Rehabilitation, Mamit District at the DC Conference Hall, Mamit in the presence of Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & DDMA Chairman.

Village Council members from Mamit town and nearby villages were amongst the attendees for the Sensitization Workshop Programme.

The Workshop programme is divided into 2 sessions namely inaugural session and technical session.

Inaugural session was chaired by Henry Malsawmtluanga, SDC i/c DM&R and R. Lalrempuia, DM&R Consultant and Fire Department Mamit demonstrated various roles and functions of the trainees to help them fight various calamities.
