Siaha; the 28th September,2020:  World Rabies Day-2020 was observed at DVO  Office's Complex here in Siaha, today. It is observe annually all over the world on the 28th September. The theme for this year's  WRD observance is “End Rabies : Collaborate, Vaccinate”

In his inaugural Speech Dr. Sahlu Khaila, DVO, Siaha reminded dog owners that the onus of vaccinating  their dogs with ARV vaccine lies  solely with them. The world is gearing up to eliminate Rabies from the globe by the year 2030, and every dog owners could contribute their bits in this endeavour by doing what they ought to do, he added.

To commemorate  this  auspicious day;  Anti-Rabies vaccine drives  on Dogs will be carried out  at District Vety Hospital for a whole one week (i.e 28/09/2020 to 03/10/2020) at free of cost. A total No. of 108 Dogs were vaccinated today.
