In the run up to Mizoram State Games 2019,  December this year designed for all out competition of all  Assembly Constituencies within the State in different Sports disciplines,   the 23-Champhai North Assembly Constituency Level Committee held consultation meeting at Circuit House Conference Hall, Champhai yesterday. The Meeting was conducted under its Chairman Dr ZR Thiamsanga, MLA & Vice Chairman, Health & Family Welfare Board.

Dr ZR Thiamsanga maintained that the  Champhai North Assembly constituency is packed with full of energetic sportspersons ensuring a huge potential to make a big impact to sports arena of the State. Meanwhile inspiring and applauding the steps taken up by committee till today, he requested the public under the constituency to come out in support by  any means as the State games is an event to remember for the players are representing the whole constituency as one. He further added that the stellar performance could be a platform to leap to a new destination making easier for the next step and development to the area in terms of sports infrastructure.

The committee decided to widen search and selection of best sportspersons from nook and corner of the constituency who are hopeful of ensuring the medals. And also it was decided to organise Constituency Sports Meet prior to the stipulated State Games on November 22, 2019, selection, practice and training  to follow.

At the meeting,  Pu Paul Zakhuma, Secretary gave  report followed by Sub committee reports, fund raising report and also the meeting unanimously accepted the deep Red Colour for the constituency jersey.
