The 3 Days long review meeting on various Health Programme under National Health Mission, Mizoram was inaugurated by the state's Health Secretary Pu H.Lalengmawia, at Taxation Department Auditorium, New Capital Complex, Aizawl on yesterday.

In his opening remarks the Health Secretary  Pu H. Lalengmawia reminded everyone present in the function about the importance of the state's staff dedication for a successful implementation of various initiatives from the central government. During this first day of review Inauguration and Orientation of the Health & Wellness Centre programme was conducted. This was done as an initiation of the drives on Universal Health Coverage under the schemes of the central government for the fulfillment of a more comprehensive Health & Wellness programme.

Dr H. Lalchungnunga, Director of Health Services, Dr.Eric Zomawia, Mission Director, NHM, Dr.Lalnuntluangi, SNO, Health & Wellness, Pi Vanlalchhuangi, Jt.Secretary, HFW, Dr.F.Lallianhlira, Principal Director and Dr.T.Lalhmangaihi, Director, HME were the resource persons at this consultation and review meeting. Chief Medical Officers and Officials representing the districts had also participated in this review meeting.
