Assam Rifles awarded Hindi communicative language training certificate to 40 students for Aizawl and Serchhip district on their successful completion of the month long course which is conducted by Assam Rifles on monthly basis in collaboration with Mizoram Hindi Prachar Sabha.

The classes were instructed by Assam Rifles on February 2018 to address the issue to communication faced by the Mizo youth due to limitation of language when they have to go outside of the state for education, job or leisure purpose. The issue had been highlighted by YMA, MZP and MSU office bearers during NGOs conclave 2018 hosted by Assam Rifles in Aizawl on January 2018. The course structure is equips to enable the participants with ability to converse in functional Hindi with confidence.

Assam Rifles has empowered more than 500 Mizo by imparting knowledge of Hindi which is spoken and understood nationwide.
