Dated Aizawl, the 18th Mrch, 2021: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department Minister Dr. K.Beichhua inaugurated the Epidemiological Centre, A.H & Veterinary Complex at Khatla today. The minister was accompanied by Pu C.Lalmuanpuia who is the Vice Chairman of Veterinary, Fishery & Sericulture Development Board. 

The Minister Dr. K. Beichhua highlighted that, to identify new disease as look out preventive measures and to take curative procedures with more sophisticated laboratory, the state needs Epidemiological Centre. He also said that improvement of the management of trans-boundary animal disease is the need of an hour in the state. Minister remarked that the centre will provide space for training and skill development in the realm of bio safety practices.
