Kolasib dated 18th March 2021: At the initiative of the Commandant, 1st IR Battalion, Mualvum, a medical check-up for all police personnel stationed at Zophai IR camp was carried out successfully today.

Mr. M.S.Dawngkima, MPS, Commandant, 1st IR Bn. mentioned that the health and well-being of police on duty at the border areas was very necessary, especially in times of Covid19 pandemic and, thus, the medical check-up organized to ensure that they were healthy, fit and free from Covid19.

All the police personnel who were examined by the medical team were found to be healthy with no sign of Covid19 symptoms. Necessary medicines are also provided during such routine health check-ups carried out for the policemen posted at Zophai IR Post.
