Aizawl Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Dr. A.Muthamma IAS inaugurated Mock Demonstration of EVM and VVPAT today at Aizawl DC Office as per the instruction of Election Commission of India for Mizoram Legislative Assembly Election, 2018. Dr. A.Muthamma said that the idea is to disseminate how the EVM and VVPAT are working and so that the public can have better understanding of EVM and VVPAT. She requested all the District Officials and staff to take part in the mock demonstration. She also extended her request to college students and public to have a firsthand experience with the EVM and VVPAT.

The Deputy Commissioner thanked the Election Officers to have organized mock demonstration today.
