Ayushman Bharat Pakhwara, the Fortnight long campaign on comprehensive healthcare schemes had commenced with a walkathon which was flagged off by  Dr.ZR Thiamsanga, MLA, Vice Chairman, Health & Family Welfare Board, this morning. Starting at the Vanapa Hall, the Healthy India Fortnight Walkathon was finished at the Millenium Centre where the inaugural function was organised.

At the inaugural event, Dr.ZR Thiamsanga had claimed that more and more people in Mizoram are beginning to realize the importance of having good health. However, he insisted that more efforts are still required in the healthcare sector.  The Ayushman Bharat, he believed would be a big facilitating exercise for a state like Mizoram which urgently needs to improve its Healthcare infrastructures.  He invites people's participation and cooperation for the success of the Ayushman Bharat Campaign. And he also voiced his optimism of the new and revamped 'Mizoram State Healthcare Schemes' which will be formally launched by Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga during the first week of next month.
