Aizawl, 1st May 2025: Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma held a meeting today with the visiting delegation of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) at the CM’s Conference Hall in Aizawl.

Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Minister appreciated the NCST Chairman and members for their timely visit and keen interest in the welfare of Mizoram. He stated that the State Review Meeting and their visits to the Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) would surely yield positive results for the state.

The NCST Members expressed appreciation for the Mizoram government’s proactive initiatives and assured the Chief Minister of their support in necessary areas. They also invited him to visit Delhi for further consultations with the Commission.

The NCST delegation was led by its Chairman Pu Antar Singh Arya and Members Pu Nirupam Chakma, Dr. Asha Lakra, and Pu Jatothu Hussain accompanied the chairman. Secretary of the Commission Pu Puneet Kumar Goel and other senior officials were also part of the delegation.

Following their visits to the Autonomous District Councils, the Commission held a State Review Meeting yesterday at the Secretariat Conference Hall. This evening, they attended a reception hosted by the Chief Minister at Aijal Club.
