DC Lawngtlai makes restriction of movement in some parts of Lawngtlai Council Veng area

Lawngtlai, the 9th November, 2020: As a result of detection of 3 COVID-19 positive cases through Rapid Antigen Test (RAgT) for which a contact tracing has been going on, and to prevent the spread of the virus from the area, Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer, today issued an order of restriction of movement without a valid permission in and out the area between FCI Godown and Dinthar Veng and that of RDS Camp. The order will be effective from dt. 09.11.2020 until further orders.

The order excepted those having permission from Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai, Medical Duty, COVID-19 duty and VLTF duty and print & electronic media personnel. Passing through the restricted areas without loitering is also allowed.
