Deputy Chief Minister Tawnluia launched the Fit India Run Mizoram at AR Ground, Aizawl this morning. He said the Fit India Run Mizoram was organised by the Government of Mizoram in support of the Fit India Movement launched on the occasion of National Sports Day and in Mizoram, the Fit India Movement would be carried out by the Department of Sports & Youth Services. He also said the Fit India aims to encourage people to take care of their physical and mental health condition.

Chief Secretary of Mizoram Lalnunmawia Chuaungo administered the pledge to 1750 people gathered on the ground. The launch was attended by Sports Minister Robert Romawia Royte, MLA Ramthanmawia and others.
