Deputy Commissioner of the newly formed Khawzawl District Pu H.Lianzela yesterday toured northern part of the district, visited Rabung, Pamchung, Aiduzawl and Khualen and interacted with the Village Councils and NGO's, discussed at length about different aspects and needs of the villages.

The Deputy Commissioner also visited and monitored the developmental works being implemented by the Village Development Committee of Pamchung and Rabung Villages, a reward bestowed to these two Villages as part of appreciation for being declared as the 'BPL Free Villages'. He instructed the Village Development Committee to take up the task sincerely. Pu H.Lianzela returned to Khawzawl after the visit.
