Dated: Mamit the 6th of March,2025: Digital India Common Services Centre(DICSC) was launched at DC Conference Hall, Mamit district by Pu K Laltlawmlova, District Commissioner, Mamit District. 10 districts have been chosen for DICSC pilot project and Mamit is the only district that has been selected from North East India. DICSC is a pilot project under Ministry of Electrnics & Information Technology (MEITY).
At today’s launching program, the Deputy Commissioner thanked everyone for the successful launch of DICSC project and said that Mamit has been fortunate enough to be selected for this project and is hopeful that everyone working under this will put their best foot forward and strive to do their best and make this project a success.
Mr Md Azezzuddin, Principal Consultant- CSC Scheme said that this launching is significant as Mamit has been one of the chosen districts in the whole of India. He said that DICSC will aim to expand its services in different ways and more standard services will be provided in the near future. One of the objectives of this project is to reach rural remote areas where citizens can avail government services at one centre and will be easily accessible to all. Mr Azzezzuddin also mentioned that the other objective is employment generation hence village level entrepreneurs will be given employment to look after the centres under this project.
A power point presentation regarding the objectives of DICSC was executed by CSC Mamit district. Mr Amitabh Kumar, Vice President CSC e- Governance Services India Limited and other officials were present at today’s launching program.
