Dated 29th May, 2025 : In continuation of the Public Notice issued by Disaster Management & Rehabilitation Department dated 28.05.2025, the Department notified the public that the Govt. of India, Indian Meteorological Department (Ministry of Earth Sciences), and the Integrated Control Room for Emergency Response (ICE-ER), Ministry of Home Affairs  forecasted extremely heavy rainfall, coupled with thunderstorms and gust winds during the 30th and 31st May, 2025 in Mizoram state.

Such being the case, all the people of Mizoram are requested to alert for their safety as far as possible so as to avoid disasters due to heavy rainfall in the State.

It is further requested to contact the concerned District Emergency Operation Centre (DC Office) or the following toll free numbers immediately to respond any kind of disaster which is in operation 24x7:
