The office of the Election Officer, Lunglei District yesterday organized a function at the DC Conference Hall to recognize and award 6 Top Performing Booth Level Officers of the District under the Electors Verification Programme initiated from 5^th September, 2019. Pu J. Miahlung, Election Officer, Lunglei presided over the function while Pu David Liansanglura Pachuau, Addl. DC, Lunglei was the Chief Guest.

Speaking about the Electors Verification Programme (EVP), the Election Officer said that the initiative was introduced by the ECI with an objective to improve the health of electoral rolls and enrollment of all eligible citizens. 1,05,920 voters from a District total of  1,06,875 voters have been verified under the EVP, taking the District achievement to 99.11% Among the 955 who have not been verified, 886 were lodged in Bru Camps in Tripura, while the remaining  69 are Double Entry voters.

1^st -  R.Lalthakima, Phairuangkai Rs. 10000/-

2^nd - C. Laltlansanga, Thiltlang and Lalbiakdika, Venglai II. Rs. 7000/- each

3^rd-C.Lalhmachhuana, Theiriat I,  R.Lalrinpuia, Electric Veng I and  P.Lalengmawia, Khawhri Rs. 5000/- each
