A meeting on maintenance of law and order during the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebration at Lunglei District was held on Wednesday (27/11/2019)at the SP Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Pu C. Lalthanmawia

The meeting was attended by concerned officials and representatives of NGOs. Problems likely to be faced during the festive season and suggestions for its preventive measures and solutions were discussed in the meeting. Members shared their experiences from previous years and the commendable efforts carried out by District Police and Young Mizo Association every year to ensure peaceful environment during the season were pointed out and applauded.
