Lunglei the 14th October, 2022 – An initiative to impart essential foundational English skills to primary school children of Lunglei District – English Language Forum that was unveiled in June 2022, is being continued on a mission mode in the District.

Representatives of the implementing partner ELF Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd, Chennai comprising of Project Managers Aradhana Srikanth, Ayshwaria Sekhai & Documentation official Smitha Tumuluru reached Lunglei District and from yesterday started visiting schools in Lunglei to interact with teachers and students about the program. The team demonstrated their teaching methods and held sessions with the students, and were received with much enthusiasm by teachers and students of the schools visited.

The team will conduct training for all selected teachers at the District Education Office Conference Hall today. They will stay in Lunglei till the 19th, and are scheduled to visit more schools within the District.

The initiative is being implemented through CSR intervention of Rs. 12 lakhs, and is expected to impact 3000 primary school students from 61 selected schools across the District.
