Today, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of 37-Lawngtlai West Constituency Pi Rochuangkimi Khenglawt, MCS published at her office chamber a final electoral roll for by-election to two village councils (VCs) under the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) for filling three vacancies and handed over the final rolls to representatives of the political parties.

As per the final electoral roll, there are 341 voters (174 males and 167 females) in 26-Hmunnuam Village Council with an increase of 53 voters from the draft while there are 170 voters (78 males and 92 females) in 50-Kakichhuah Village Council with an increase of 10 voters from the draft. There are one vacancy to fill in Hmunnuam VC and two vacancies to fill in Kakichhuah VC.

Meanwhile, the ERO issued a notice that the list of amendments to the draft roll for Hmunnuam and Kakichhuah VC constituencies has been prepared with 01.01.2019 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Amendment Rules, 2011 and a copy of the said roll and list of amendments is available for inspection at the ERO's office.
