Government of Mizoram declares Day of Election -November 7, 2023 as Public Holiday

Aizawl, the 3rd November 2023: In exercise of the powers conferred under the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881, the Governor of Mizoram declared the 7th November, 2023 (Tuesday) as Public Holiday for all Government Servants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions in Mizoram to enable voters to exercise their franchise in the General Election to Mizoram Legislative Assembly, 2023.
