Aizawl, the 26th May 2022: Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati felicitated four personnel of the Border Roads Organisation for achieving exemplary works under Project Pushpak in Mizoram at a function in the Raj Bhavan today.

NK/NASST Rajesh Kumar Singh Parihar, HQ 24 BRTF(P) Pushpak, GS-194988K JE (CIV) Rajendra Nath Bindhani, 158 FCPL/71 RCC(GREF), GS-194572M JE(CIV) Nitin Kumar, 401 RMPL/71 RCC (GREF) and GS-177583H MSW PNR Arvind Kumar Tiwari, 1604 PNR COY(GREF) received Certificates of appreciation and Mementos from Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati congratulated the recipients for their exceptional achievements in performing their duties for border road infrastructural works in the remote parts of the state. He said that the utmost devotion to their duties by these motivated workers will greatly benefit the local populace, especially those residents in the most remote parts of the state. He hoped that these achievements will inspire other engineers, contractors and workers to try to upgrade their works under various projects in Mizoram.

After the felicitation programme, Governor inquired about the physical progress of works taken up by BRO in border areas. Shri PN Yadav, CE, Project Pushpak briefed Governor on their progress within the southern part and southeastern parts of Mizoram. He reported that most of the projects are progressing well and are expected to be completed in a few months. He also briefed Governor that Project Pushpak is hopeful of getting funds from the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) for works in border areas where Assam Rifles jawans are stationed.
