Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan will visit his home State Kerala on June 15, 2018.

In his first visit to Kerala as Governor of Mizoram, he will be visiting Kozhikode to pay respect to Padma Vibhushan P. Parameswaran. He will attend Ayyankali Samadhi Sammelan at Nanmanda Kozhikode to pay homage to Late Shri Mahatma Ayyankali (a social reformer) and will also take part in the 25th Anniversary celebration of Maradu Vivekananda School, Kerala.

Then he will visit Sabari Balashram Orphanage and have breakfast with Children of Balashram. He will also meet Mar Crisostam Valiya Methropolitan Maramon of Marthoma Church and Chief of Attathodu Tribal Colony in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Then will start his journey to Sabarimala.

During his visit to Kottayam, he will inaugurate the newly constructed building of Janmabhumi Daily. He will also honour the students of Sri Aravinda School for their excellent academic result. His home village Kummanam in Kottayam District will be organising a grand reception to welcome him during his first visit. He will also attend a reception hosted by Press Club Kottayam followed by visit to CMS College and NSS School. The Hon’ble Governor will also pay homage to veteran journalist Late Smt. Leela Menon at Town Hall, Cochin along with other dignitaries.

He will also attend a civic reception hosted by the people of Kollam, Kottayam and capital city, Trivandrum which will be attended by eminent dignitaries from social, cultural and religious backgrounds. On the occasion of International Yoga Day i.e. 21st June, 2018 he will take part in the yoga celebration hosted by Sai Gramam Thonnakkal, Trivandrum.
