Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan, Hon'ble Governor of Mizoram met 4 Mizoram Theological students and their family namely Rev. Zohmangaiha D.Th Final year, Rev. Lalbiakhlira M Th II, Rev. Vanlalliana M Th II, Rev. Vanlalmuanawma, M Th I studying at Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam. The students are studying under the guidance of principal of the college, Father Dr. Jose John.

Governor also presented a Houseboat, the symbol of Kerala Heritage as a token of gift to the students. While speaking to them he inquired about their stay in Kerala and wished them all the best for their future studies and assured all possible help while their stay in Kerala. He said that it is a great motivation for other students and people of Mizoram to come to Kerala, explore Kerala and make Mizoram proud through their hard work and dedication. He also asked the students to utilize their knowledge and hard work for welfare and well-being of the state of Mizoram.

The students further said that they are very happy with their stay in in the home town of Governor. The students also discussed their concern about the connectivity issues and air fares from Kolkata and Guwahati to Aizawl, Governor assured all help in taking up the matter with the concerned  officials in improving the connectivity issues which will lead to decrease in air fare.Governor also encouraged the students to promote the culture and tradition of Mizoram in Kerala. He also met the family members of the students followed by a light refreshment with all of them.
