Aizawl the 19th September, 2022 : Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Aizawl signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TATA Motors Ltd.(TML) and HYUNDAI Motors India Ltd.(HMIL) on 17th September, 2022 at their campus at ITI veng, Aizawl.

Representatives of TATA Motors from ZOTHAN AUTO Works and HYUNDAI Motors India Ltd. (HMIL) by CK Hyundai signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Govt. of Mizoram represented by the Secretary of LESDE Department, Mr. Lalramsanga Sailo. The representatives from both TATA Motors and Hyundai Motors conveyed their contentment on their partnership with Govt. ITI Aizawl and also expressed their willingness to lend a hand in the improvement of the Institute.

Mr. Lalramsanga Sailo, Secretary LESDE Department also expressed his happiness and consider the MOU as an important milestone of ITI and hope that it would be an added advantage for the students.

As per the MoU, Govt. ITI Aizawl and TATA Motors Ltd. have signed an agreement for five years through which TML will supply machinery and equipments and ITI on their part would include TML Training Module in their existing curriculum. Further, students would also be allowed On the Job Training at any TML Authorized workshop. HYUNDAI Motor India Limited (HMIL) and Govt. ITI, Aizawl have signed a four year agreement through which HMIL would supply Module, Cut-Section Model and unregistered car for ITI Aizawl and thereby students can have practical training with Hyundai Motor Dealer and representatives.

Under the agreement, Govt. ITI, Aizawl is to provide class room as well as practical room for use by the students.
