40 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 23 Sector (MIZORAM RANGE)Assam Rifles constructed a Marketing Shed at Parva with the aim to benefit people in remote areas of Southern Mizoram. The Marketing Shed was inaugurated on 17 Jan 2010. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chairman, VCP and the villagers of Parva. President of the villagecouncil as well as the villagers extended their gratitude and thanks to 40 Assam Rifles for undertaking such magnitude of work as part of welfare measure for the poor villagers and also appreciated Assam Rifles for speedy completion of the assigned work. The VCP, Parva also stated that "This Marketing Shed will be a great boon for the villagers."
