Siaha, the 10th  October, 2020 (Inrinni) : Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) and District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Siaha jointly observed  International Day of Girl Child, 2020  and an observance programme was held at NSV studio, New Colony. Shri. Kesavan R, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Siaha  benignly graced the programme as the Chief Guest.

Speaking at the occassion Shri. Kesavan  reiraterated the importance of giving encouragement and supports  to our girl child in whatever careers and endeavours she pursued,in order to make her held her head high  and stand firm and bold with her own foot.

Shri. N. Lalzarzova, SDC and Nodal Officer,BBBP also delivered a short speech and gave reports on various undertakings under BBBP for the welfare of girl child.

Miss.Ephesi Hlychho, Child Protection Ambassador  also gave reports on  various works done by District Child Protection Office.

Miss Imelda C. Zomuanzuali, Centre Administrator, One Stop Centre (OSC)  delivered lectures on  what is all about One Stop Centre .
      
Dr David Zaitinvawra, District Child Protection Officer, Siaha  proposed a vote of thanks and concluded today's programme.

International Day of Girl Child, 2020 programme was well attended by leaders of ECM  KNP, KTP & KHP Hqrs, MTP Hqrs, MChP Hqrs.  Staff of various Children's Home , officials of  OSC, MSK & DCPU.
