The Governor of Mizoram, by Notification under sub-para (1) & (6A) of Para 2 of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution read with sub- rule (1) & (2) of Rule 144 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business etc.) Rules, 2002 as amended and sub-rule (1) & (2) of Rule 144 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Bussiness, etc.) Rules, 2014, as amended is pleased to call upon 5 - Lungtian MDC Constituency under Lai Autonomous District Council and 9 - Ugudasury 'S' MDC Constituency under Chakma Autonomous District Council to elect a Member of District Council vide No.A.43016/1/2010-DC&MA(L), dt. 17th January, 2019 and No.H.14011/3/2018-DC&MA(C)/Pt, dt.5th February, 2019 in accordance with the said Rules and orders made by the State Election Commission .

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (1) of Rule 151 read with sub-rule (3) of Rule 142 & sub-rule (1) of Rule 158 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business, etc.) Rules, 2014, as amended and sub-rule (1) of Rule 151 read with sub-rule (5) of Rule 7 & sub-rule (1) of Rule 158 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business etc.) Rules, 2002, as amended in 2012, the State Election Commission hereby appoints the following dates and times with respect to the said election in each of the Constituencies:-
