A meeting of Saiha District Vigilance &Monitoring Committee, chaired by Hon'ble MP (Lok Sabha) Pu CL. Ruala was held at DC's conference Hall at 9 am, here today.

Today's meeting was the 2nd meeting of Saiha District Vigilance& Monitoring Committee of the running year. The meeting reviewed, deliberated upon, scrutinized and discussed over the implementations and progress of the various undertakings under Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) carried out by different Departments at Saiha District. The members shared their problems with and proposals in regard to CSS to the Chairman, Saiha District Vigilance &Monitoring Committee and Hon'ble MP (Lok Sabha) Pu CL. Ruala.

Speaking at the meeting the Hon'ble MP (LS) Pu CL. Ruala stressed the importance of integrity and dedication of each member for the successful implementation of CSS. He implored the committee to utilize CSS properly and judiciously to create valuable and lasting social assets. So that its benefits could also be reaped by your grand children and you, after retirement, become a happy person when looking back what you had done for the society, added Pu CL.Ruala

Pu Ruala expressed his appreciation on the insistence of EPIC by Banks for opening account by job card holders. This will eliminate ghost job cards and go along way, especially for those Districts bordering international boundary, in checking illegal settlement of foreigners, opined the MP.

This meeting, apart from officers under Government of Mizoram and representatives of NGOs, was also attended by Pu S.Khipo, CEM,MADC and Pu MH.Tiabi, EM(Rev) MADC.
