72nd India Republic Day was celebrated at DC Complex Mamit today with Dr Lalrozama, IAS, DC, Mamit as the Chief Guest unfurling the Indian Flag, taking the Salute and Guard of honour from 4th IR Bn Armed Contingent.

In his Speech, Mamit DC Dr Lalrozama highlighted the achievements and activities of various Departments in the District during 2020-2021. Cleanliness Prizes were also distributed by the Chief Guest in connection with Cleanliness Competition held during last year. DC Mamit visited the District Hospital and various Homes to mark this occasion. ‘At Home’ programme was also organised at DC bungalow for all the participants. The Republic Day 2021 celebrations were attended by all Heads of Offices in Mamit District, representatives of NGOs, Political Parties, MJA and other special invitees.
