Mamit 22nd March 2021 : With a theme "Valuing Water" World Water Day 2021- is celebrated in Mamit Aspirational District at I&PR Conference Hall Mamit along Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, DC Mamit as the Chief Guest of the programme.

World Water Day 2021 celebrated in Mamit District is attended by various stake holders in respect to conservation of water resources in the District such as NGO's and Voluntary Organisations like NYK as well as Village Council leaders from all parts of the District. Prize distributions on Essay writing competition were also distributed in the programme. 

National Awardee Pi Laltharzeli and Sub Hqrs. YMA President and Pu Zatluanga, JJM, ISA leader were amongst the key speaker for the occasion today. Pi Lalrinmawii Pachuau, JE, PHED conducted pledge taking of the slogan to conserve water.

World Water Day 2021 Celebration in Mamit is chaired by Er. Lalzawmliana, Sr. EE, PHED Mamit Watsan Division and power point presentation was delivered by Pu Er. V. Laldanmawia, SDO, PHED in respect to the importance of water conservation and the status of our environment with regard to water problems and solutions. The programme is concluded with a vote of thanks from Pu Lalremruata, DHA PHED Mamit.
