MAMIT DISTRICT MAGISTRATE /DC ORDERS NO DRONE ZONE

Aizawl 24th August, 2021 : In view of the recent Mizoram- Assam boundary issue In view of the recent Mizoram- Assam boundary issue and in order to protect people and property against any threat posed by drone/UAV attacks by anti-social elements and to preserve peace and tranquillity, the following places and hereby declared as No Drone Zone.

Chuhvel, Saikhawthlir, Hriphaw, Thinghlun, Kanhmun, Bajirungpa and any other places bordering the state of Assam.

Any operation of either Private/ Government or Military Drone in the airspace within the aforementioned location without obtaining prior permission from District Magistrate, Mamit is strictly prohibited with immediate effect and until further order. Unauthorized drones flown / operated in the above mentioned areas shall be disposed off accordingly.
