With the initiative of  Mizoram Board of School  Education (MBSE)  to transform the educational scenario of Mizoram, one day training on 'Question Setting Technique’ for teachers of High School and Higher Secondary Schools was organised at I&PR Auditorium, CHANEM Building here at Champhai, today.

At the training the needs for improvement of education system was stressed and mentioned the  poor performance of Students  while vying a place at national level examination due to  stift competition  despite the gradual improvement of pass percentage at Board Exams. It was stressed that the stepwise  improvement of education system is must and needs of the hour to  attain quality education. Also at the training   the program of transforming content based education to competency based education in order to encouraging and sharpening the students for their future endeavours was highly recommended.

The resource persons,  Pu  C. Laldinpuia, Senior Academic Officer and  Pu Jonathan Lalrinmawia, Academic Officer,  MBSE  elaborated and demonstrated the much anticipated newly updated Software manual on Scheme of Examination and Question Design, and also on  Integrated Evaluation Scheme (IES) which is to be introduced from 2020 Board Exam onwards. A new updated much better version of the IES software with User Manual was also distributed to the trainees.
