MEDICAL CAMP AT NEW VAIKHAWTLANG

A Medical camp was organised at New Vaikhawtlang,Champhai District by 26 Assam Rifles on 28 may 2011 under the aegis of HQ 23 Sector Assam Rifles. The camp was organised to extend medical facilities to the villagers of New Vaikhawtlang and vicinity areas as a welfare measure in commemoration with the spirit of Assam Rifles 'Friends of the hill people'. A total 246 people which included 49 males, 64 females and 133 children were provided free medical treatment.
