Lunglei the 21st April, 2021 : In the backdrop of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, and subsequent restriction order (19/04/2021) issued by that State’s DM&R Department, a meeting was held yesterday at the office chamber of Lunglei DLTF Chairman Pu Kulothungan A to assess the Covid-19 situation in the District, and also to devise strategies for smooth implementation of the Government Order. In attendance were Lunglei SP Pu Rex Zarzoliana Vanchhawng, CMO Dr LC Liana and other key DLTF members.

The meeting reviewed all issues related to Covid-19 restrictions, including quarantine facilities, DCHC & CCCs in the District, supply chain management of essential commodities, solid waste management, roles and responsibilities of VLTF & Executive Duty, supply of fresh produce of farmers etc.

The following Executive Magistrates have been detailed to perform duty in connection with all disaster and Covid-19 related matters within Lunglei District.
