Champhai District Level Steering Committee on Student Police Cadet (SPC)  held meeting this afternoon at DC Conference Hall,  under the Chairmanship of  Pu Alexander V. Chongthu, DC Champhai.

Pu Alexander V. Chongthu while highlighting  the role and importance of   Student Police Cadet in shaping the Student's outlooks for their future endeavours, expressed that SPC  will be a huge asset for  the society to  produce bonafide and dependable citizens. 

Pu Francis Lalnuntluanga Ralte, Nodal Officer, SPC & Addl SP Champhai reported that  SPC had been established at various Districts in the  State.  Focussing on the status of Champhai district, he said that SPC is already in operation at  Govt GM High School  and permission is being sought   to establish  the same at three more  Schools viz. Cornerstone School, New Champhai;  Springdale Academy, Zotlang  and  Govt. Vengthlang Middle School. He also further mentioned that the actual activities under SPC will commence soon after funds are released to the intended SPC.
