NYK ORGANISES A DECLAMATION CONTEST AT LAWNGTLAI

Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Lawngtlai District organised a '3rd District Level Declamation Contest' today at ANM School Lawngtlai Auditorium.

The programmme was chaired by K. Lalhmachhuani, Multi Tasking Staff of NYK Lawngtlai. Seven students within Lawngtlai town entered the contest declaiming on the topic of "Patriotism & Nation Building" in English.

S. Beihroki, a student of ANM School Lawngtlai bagged the first prize of Rs 5,000/- plus citation while students of Don Bosco School Lawngtlai - V. Vanlaltlanmawii, Lawngtlai Vengpui and Caroline Lalhruaitluangi, Lawngtlai Bazar Veng got the second prize of Rs 2,000/- plus citation and the third prize of Rs 1,000/- plus citation respectively.

The contest was organised as part of the Republic Day celebration, 2020. The district level winner will represent the District at the forthcoming state level contest.
