The Minister for Sports & Youth Services Pu Zodintluanga today graced a programme of "Freshers Social cum Graduates Farewell" as Chief Guest at Govt. Hrangbana College, Aizawl.
Addressing a gathering of students, lecturers and alumni of this college, the Minister pointed out the importance of hardwork, sincerity and discipline. He expressed his regret for certain student leaders who absorb themselves in politics and related matters adding that they can be a hindrance rather than a blessing for their fellow students. He urged the students to give their best effort for the progress and prosperity of Mizoram.
Pu R. Zatlaia, former Principal of Hrangbana College was the Guest of Honour and Pu K. Liantuala, Principal of Hrangbana College presided over the programme as Chairman. 10 students who secured First Division marks during the 2010 MZU Degree Examination were honoured with Hrangbana Award and the overall topper was awarded with R. Zatlaia Award, carrrying a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
