Aizawl, the 2nd May 2023: Prof. Dibakar Chandra Deka, who joined his office as the new Vice Chancellor of Mizoram University on 1st May 2023, paid a courtesy call on Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati extended his good wishes and congratulated the new Vice Chancellor of Mizoram University. Prof. Dibakar Chandra Deka introduced himself, and his experience and also briefly apprised his priorities for the progress and development of MZU.

Governor shared with the new Vice-Chancellor his views on the remarkable progress of Mizoram University over a short period of its existence. Governor also suggested certain areas where improvement can be made.
