Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) conducted a one-day training on 'Question Setting Technique' for High School & Higher Secondary School teachers today at Downtown English School, Lawngtlai. 

Pu Michael Lalrinmawia, Academic Officer, MBSE Aizawl and Pu F. Ricky Lalremruatpuia, Regional Officer, MBSE Lunglei imparted the training that covered the new scheme of examinations and question design and the manual for using the updated version of Integrated Evaluation Scheme (IES) software.

The new scheme of examinations and question design, which will be more competency-based rather than the existing content-based questions, is to be introduced with effect from the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations, 2020.

The same training had already been conducted in Aizawl, Mamit, Kolasib, Champhai, Lunglei and Siaha District. With today's training at Lawngtlai, the only remaining District is Serchhip, training for which is scheduled to be conducted next week.
